Seth Brondle is a playable character in the run and gun platform game Broforce.

Seth Brondle is a parody of Seth Brundle from the 1986 version of the horror movie The Fly.

Gameplay

Fire command: Acid Spit

Seth Brondle spits an acid drop that travels in a small arc from his mouth. The acid can dissolve almost any organic enemies (save for aliens and bosses) in one shot, though they deal relatively small damage against mechanical enemies. The acid can also dissolve the ground when hit.

• Brondle will teleport a certain distance away. If he teleports to an enemy's position, the enemy will explode.
• The distance is quite long and it can be directed in the four standard directions, locking onto the nearest enemy in input direction if any are present and teleporting in a straight line if not.

  • When pressing up while in the air, Brondle will start flying. He can slowly move left and right while doing so.
  • It lasts a limited amount of time.

  • Seth Brondle can climb on ceilings.

• Jump: 5 squares high.

Trivia

• A character based on Seth Brundle had been in the game prior to the Broforce Forever Update as an unfinished character named Brondlefly.
  • The unfinished character had a far faster rate of fire, could be killed by his special ability under certain circumstances, had incomplete sprites and animations, lacked the extra mobility, and was inaccessible by normal means.
