Mooks are a type of Doodad in Broforce and The Expendabros.

Basic Mook[]

Mook(0) sol

A Basic Mook is the standard opponent and the most common. Toting an assault rifle, he'll lay down fire when he detects a bro until one of them dies. He can be parachuted and spawn from a Mook Door.

Despite their low rate of fire, they are one of the more common sources of death for anyone who does not pay attention to the "!" symbol.

Ninja Mook[]

Mook(9) sol

A Ninja Mook is an opponent who lays low until a bro gets close enough, although a tell tale pixel can still be seen. They can be hidden by a Foreground Bush Doodad or Alien Fronds.

They will behave like a basic mook once revealed.

Suicide Bomber Mook[]

Mook(1)boom sol

The Suicide Bomber Mook will search for bros, charge them and detonate. This can be a game-changer in tight quarters.

It's best to knock these mooks back from a distance so as not to get caught in the explosion. They will detonate shortly after they are dead. His explosion is a double-edged sword and damages destructible terrain and other enemies.

He can be parachuted and spawn from a Mook Door.

Riot Shield Mook[]

Mook(2)fail sol

A Riot Shield Mook hides behind his riot shield and reflects shots. He can be very helpful to stop bullets from hitting other Mooks.

The Shield does not protect against splash damage or melee attacks. It also cannot shield him from the back. Throwing him will remove the shield, and taking too much damage in a short time can also cause him to abandon the shield. If he is not killed and the shield is thrown off, he will be unable to retaliate due to being unarmed.

Scout Mook[]

Mook(4) sol

A Scout Mook looks for bros, and after detecting one runs around alerting other hostile units of their presence. They will also use nearby alarms that can potentially summon endless amounts of mooks unless turned off. It's best to kill them quickly.

Unlike most enemies, Scout Mooks have no depth perception and can often fall to their deaths. Scouts will also not detect corpses, blood or any such thing that's normally incriminating to other mooks.

He will often yell "Broforce" when spotting a player, making him one of the only few enemies with audible speech.

Grenadier Mook[]

Mook(7) sol

A Grenadier Mook will toss grenades in a bro's direction, and also drop one when they die. Each time one of their corpses is hit, a grenade is dropped from it.

His grenades can be thrown back by pressing the melee attack near them. They have infinite grenades.

Bazooka Mook[]

Mook(8) sol

A Bazooka Mook will launch destroyable rockets to bros. Their rockets are homing, making them very dangerous.

The rocket can be destroyed if it takes enough damage mid-air, and the explosion harms both players and enemies alike.

Jetpack Mook[]

Mook(10) sol

A Jetpack Mook is an opponent who hovers if seeing a Bro. Upon death the jetpack shoots off in the direction he's facing and eventually explodes, like a Propane Tank, though if he hits a wall he will bounce or stop moving.

They have the same fire rate as a Basic Mook.

A combination of Jetpack Mook and Bazooka Mook. Fires rockets like Bazooka Mook but otherwise acts as Jetpack Mook.

Attack Dog[]

Mook(5)feast sol

An attack dog is a melee enemy that will jump into nearby Bros. They are extremely deadly and agile but can be killed easily if the player stays alert.

An attack dog will feed on a corpse when it finds one until it's consumed, and will then howl before becoming a bigger and stronger version: the Super-Size-Me Dog. The super-size-me dog basically has more health than a regular dog, but is otherwise similar.

The attack dog is drawn to the sound of gunfire, and will automatically detect a bro if it hears a shot.

Bruiser[]

Mook(3) sol

A Bruiser can take more damage than regular mooks and shoots long bursts of automatic fire from a minigun. They are very dangerous and can be tricky to combat.

Compared to regular mooks, Bruiser attacks seem to deal less damage per round (when the rounds are returned to him with special abilities), but are still instant death to players.

Bruisers tend to operate in bursts constantly, and for a short while after a player disappears from his line of sight.

A bruiser that acts like a Suicide Bomber Mook but is more durable and makes a bigger explosion upon death.

Armored Mook (AKA Robot Suit)[]

Mook(6) sol

An Armored Mook is a mook in a Mech suit, which is almost impossible to destroy and fires devastating bullet storms in short bursts.

The occupant is weak to falls, and after his death it is possible to use the armor suit to the player's advantage. A Bro can also simply jump on the suit and press the melee button to instantly yank the pilot out, kill him and highjack the suit.

Skinned Mook[]

Skinned Mook

Skinned Mooks can be placed via the level editor or created by skinning a regular mook in melee with Brodator's wrist blades. Nice scenery for desecrated villages, they can be hung from the ceiling or placed on the floor.

In Hell, Skinned Mooks will attempt to jump on your back. If they are hung they will stay stuck hanging there, though they will still notice you.

Skinned mooks can be eaten by attack dogs.
